Necessary and Unnecessary Rules


You have identified rules that you follow at home, at school, and in your community. You have already divided those rules into 2 groups: rules you feel are important, and rules you feel are unnecessary.

You will now choose 2 rules from each category and give a brief explanation as to why you consider them important or unnecessary. Begin!

    1) You must eat breakfast every morning because breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
    2) You must brush your teeth because your teeth will get all stinky and yellow.

    Unnecessary Rules:
    1) No killing because you will get the consequences.
    2) No robbing because you are breaking the laws.

    1) No popping gum is an unnecessary rule because everyone can pop gum and some people think its cool.

    2) Uniform policy is an unnecessary rule because some parents might not have enough money for it and some parents think its ugly.


    Necessary rules

    1) No weapons is a necessary rule because people are dying
    from these dangerous things like knives, and Guns.

    2) NO drugs is a necessary rule because people can be caused heart attack, cancer, and death and its illegal.
