“The Giver” ends with the reader not being entirely sure of what happens to Jonas and Gabriel. Based on information in the book (specifically the end of Chapter 23), what do you think happens to them? Do they survive, or die out in the cold? Explain.
(1 paragraph)
I think they survive Jonas and Gabriel. Because they find a sled and they see a house with light and trees with lights, so Jonas says were almost there.
ReplyDeleteI think Jonas survive because he saw the house and heard music and he saw the light on the tree so when he see all of these thing he remember the giver.
ReplyDelete3) I think they survive from the cold because they saw a house, Christmas tree with light, see people, present, hared music and saw a sled.
ReplyDeleteI think Jonas and Gabriel die because probably while thy keep going towards the house Jonas falls off. Gabriel crack his head on the ground and Jonas breaks his leg and can’t help his self so he freezes and starve to death.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the book I tank that Jonas and Gabriel died out in the cold because they were really cold and hungry.
ReplyDeleteI think that they survived because somewhere ahead. He knew there was warmth. He could see lights he knew were shining through of rooms where families created and kept memories where they celebrated love
